As part of its commitment to advancing gender inclusion and community impact, Genesis Hydrocarbons commemorated International Women’s Day 2026 through a purposeful outreach initiative led by its women, in collaboration with Give to Gain.
Recognizing that the most enduring investment is in knowledge, the team visited Kuramo Senior Secondary School to engage young female students in a transformative session themed “Courage – Becoming a Stellar Woman.”
The initiative was designed to go beyond celebration and deliver tangible impact. Through a dynamic and interactive engagement, the students were equipped with practical insights on self-leadership, resilience, confidence, and the power of intentional growth. The session emphasized the importance of courage in navigating life’s challenges and the role of education and self-belief in unlocking opportunities.
Speaking during the session, representatives of Genesis Hydrocarbons highlighted the organization’s belief that empowering women and girls is central to building sustainable communities and driving long-term socio-economic progress.
The event also incorporated engaging activities and games, creating an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere where students actively participated and won gifts. More importantly, the engagement sparked meaningful conversations, leaving the students inspired, energized, and more confident about their future possibilities.
This initiative underscores Genesis Hydrocarbons’ broader commitment to corporate social responsibility, human capital development, and the advancement of women across all levels of society. By investing in the next generation, the company continues to play a vital role in shaping future leaders and contributing to a more inclusive and equitable world.
Genesis Hydrocarbons remains dedicated to creating lasting impact not only through its business operations, but through intentional actions that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
