Incorporated in 2003, the company was established to deepen indigenous participation in Nigeria’s upstream sector through responsible operatorship, disciplined investment, and long-term value creation.
Genesis operates across the upstream value chain as an asset owner, joint operator, participating interest holder, and strategic partner. The company’s approach is anchored in unlocking value from marginal and indigenous hydrocarbon assets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
